The HomeBrainZ HT-01 is a full-featured low-profile Home Theater PC (HTPC) that will fit in well with other high quality home theater entertainment center equipment.  It is built using only the finest quality hardware components available.  Our main focus of design for HomeBrainZ HTPC's is to provide high performance, run cool and quiet, while consuming as little power as possible.

The HT-01 works very well in conjunction with our Windows Home Servers, which greatly expand the storage capacities for large amounts of TV recordings, home movies, music, photos, etc. 

The HT-01 comes standard with a 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD), which provides blazing performance that standard mechanical hard drives can not achieve.  This allows the HT-01 to operate much more quitely, and keeps the system cooler than other systems with traditional mechanical drives. Because the HT-01 is designed specifically to be used in conjunction with Windows Home Server Systems, storage capacity is not the main concern, so we opt for performance here.  We feel that there is no real need for large storage drives on a HTPC system when used in conjunction with a home server, so we opt to use non-mechanical drives with our HTPC's.  This allows streaming media to viewed without stuttering on even the largest home theater displays.

The HT-01 comes standard with a high-end Blu-Ray/DVD-R/CD Combo drive for viewing and ripping Blue Ray or DVD movies directly from the HT-01 system.
